Use: While applied to target weapon it increases damage dealt by periodic spells by 1% and spell haste rating by 40. Lasts for 1 hour.

This was released with the 3.0.2 patch. It does not count as a conjured item and does not disappear when you log out. They are soulbound so you can't make a profit with them but this will surely save us a little gold.

Sorry, bad typos in the first one:
Do we know yet if the Spellstone 1%damage boost and the haste boost is better than the effect of extra spell power from the wizard oil?
In any case, I like the direction they're going with the stones: applying them to weapon instead of replacing your wand.
The Major Spellstone is better than the Superior Wizard Oil. The SWO only provides +42 spell power.
